    Raised in the Nupe heartland of Niger State.

    Bayero University Kano and Ahmadu Bello University

    BSc Sociology, then an MBA. Professional licences from the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, ANAN and the Chartered Institute of Forensic and Investigation Professionals.

    Joins PKF International

    Rises to senior consultant in charge of tax management and advisory services.

  4. 2018

    Managing partner, Manam Professional Services

    A chartered tax practice with offices in Kaduna, Abuja and Minna.

  5. 2019 – 2023

    Executive Chairman, Federal Inland Revenue Service

    Appointed November 2019. Delivered record collections of ₦6.4 trillion in 2021 and ₦10.1 trillion in 2022, and rolled out the TaxPro Max digital tax platform.

    PDP candidate for Governor of Niger State

    Affirmed by the party's State Executive Committee in Minna in September 2026.
