PDP affirms Muhammad Mamman Nami as governorship candidate for Niger State
Following the voluntary withdrawal of Arch. Abubakar Sulaiman, the Niger State PDP has affirmed former FIRS Executive Chairman Muhammad Mamman Nami as its candidate for the 2027 governorship election.
MINNA — The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State has affirmed Muhammad Mamman Nami as its candidate for the 2027 governorship election, following a resolution of the State Executive Committee meeting with local government party chairmen held in Minna.
Nami, who served as Executive Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service from 2019 to 2023, thanked the party and pledged a campaign focused on public finance, security, agriculture and jobs for young people across all 25 local government areas.
